Privacy Policy

Servli is a local services marketplace operated by Servli LLC (“Servli”, “we”, “us”). Customers find nearby service professionals, message them, receive quotes and pay through Servli, which holds the payment until the job is complete. This policy explains what information we collect through the Servli apps and website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

• Account details: your phone number and email address (both verified), name, and whether you use Servli as a customer or a business. If you continue with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. We do not receive your Google password or access any other Google data.
• Business profiles: business name, category, service area, description, photos, hours and ratings, which are shown publicly to customers.
• Location: the location you choose or allow, used to show businesses within your search radius. Precise device location is used only while you use the app and only with your permission.
• Messages and jobs: chats, photos you send, quotes, jobs, reviews and dispute details between customers and businesses.
• Payments and payouts: payments are processed by Stripe. Card and bank details go directly to Stripe; we receive only limited details such as the card brand, last four digits and payment status. Businesses provide identity and bank information to Stripe to receive payouts.
• Device and usage: push notification tokens, app version, and basic logs needed to run, secure and debug the service.

• To create and secure your account, including verifying your phone and email.
• To show nearby businesses, deliver messages and quotes, process payments, hold funds and release payouts.
• To handle disputes, refunds, reviews and support requests.
• To send notifications about your messages, jobs and payments. You can turn off optional notifications in Settings.
• To prevent fraud and abuse, and to comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

• Other users, as needed for the marketplace: businesses see the name, messages and job details of customers they work with, and customers see business profiles, quotes and reviews.
• Service providers that run Servli on our behalf: Supabase (database, authentication and file storage), Stripe (payments and payouts), Vercel (website hosting), Expo (app delivery and push notifications), Google (sign-in, if you choose it) and our SMS and email delivery providers.
• Authorities, when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users and Servli.

We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Account → Delete Account) or at servli-five.vercel.app/account/delete. Deleting your account removes your profile and sign-in details. Records of payments, payouts and disputes are kept as long as the law requires for tax, accounting and fraud prevention.

Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited by role, and card data is handled only by Stripe. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your phone and email account secure, since they are how you sign in.

You can view and update your account details in the app, change notification settings, turn off location access in your device settings, and delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of your information or ask us to correct or delete it. Contact us and we will respond within the time the law requires.

Servli is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email.
