Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Servli apps and website, operated by Servli LLC (“Servli”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Servli you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Servli.

Servli is a marketplace that connects customers with independent local service businesses. Businesses are not employees or agents of Servli. Servli does not perform the services and is not responsible for how they are performed, but we provide payment protection and a dispute process as described below.

• You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract.
• You must verify a phone number and an email address, keep them current, and keep access to them secure.
• You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us right away if you think it has been misused.
• Businesses must provide accurate information about their services, licensing and pricing.

• Businesses send quotes in chat. A customer accepts a quote by paying it in full through Servli.
• Payments are processed by Stripe and held by Servli until release. Funds are released to the business 48 hours after the business marks the job complete, unless the customer confirms completion sooner or opens a dispute within that window.
• Servli deducts a commission from each released payment. The rate depends on the business’s subscription tier and is shown in the app before the business subscribes.
• Payouts are sent to the business’s connected bank account through Stripe. Businesses must complete Stripe’s identity verification.
• Arranging or taking payment for a job found on Servli outside of Servli to avoid fees is not allowed and removes Servli’s payment protection.

A customer may open a dispute before funds are released. While a dispute is open the funds stay held. Servli reviews the evidence from both sides and decides whether to release the funds to the business, refund the customer in full or in part. Servli’s decision on held funds is final within the app, without limiting any rights you have under law.

Businesses may subscribe to paid tiers that affect search placement and commission. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled and can be cancelled at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are not refunded except where required by law.

• No unlawful, fraudulent, harassing, discriminatory or misleading content or conduct.
• No fake reviews, impersonation, spam, or attempts to access other accounts or disrupt the service.
• Reviews must reflect a real job and your honest experience.

We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

You keep ownership of the messages, photos, profiles and reviews you post. You give Servli a license to host, display and use them to operate and promote the service, for example showing a business profile and its reviews to customers.

Servli is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, Servli is not liable for the acts or omissions of businesses or customers, or for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Servli’s total liability for any claim relating to a job is limited to the fees Servli received for that job.

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Account → Delete Account) or at servli-five.vercel.app/account/delete. Open jobs, held funds and disputes are settled under these terms first.

We may update these terms; we will update the date above and notify you of material changes. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
